We left Prinyers Marina aka Swan Lake before 8:00am. We wanted to be at Trenton Port Marina early so we had the day to get some errands done. Most critical was getting Gramps to an urgent care walk in clinic. He'd picked up a tick and it wasn't looking good. We were thankful this was the place one latched on because we were back in Canada and there was clinic in Trenton.

It was a lovely, smooth run along the Bay of Quinte and we arrived at the marina just after noon. There was a clinic within a three minute walk of the marina, and a Metro grocery store just a little further. We got Gramps in quickly to consult with the nurse/doctor, which turned out to be important. We were told that ticks in this area were really bad, and the tick he had was a deer tick. The bite site looked angry, so they prescribed him a week's worth of antibiotics. Despite all this, he was still in good spirits and joined me on a large grocery shop at Metro. The store was so close to the marina, we walked the packed cart over, unloaded onto the boat and returned the cart back to Metro. Gord also did some errands by "heel-toe-express" walking to the first LCBO we'd seen in three months. He also picked up some dog food for the hounds.

Some of "The Loopers" we've been seeing and chatting to over the last couple of days filtered into the marina later in the afternoon. One of them didn't have a very welcoming entry into Canada when they dealt with Border Services which was unfortunate. These Loopers were on similar schedules as we were, so it was likely we'd see them again.
